When the Merciful International Guild was started way back in the year 2003 the Vision of operating a Faith based medical facility was conceived, where collaboration with the Happy Spiritual Church was initiated. The two institutions has made a milestone towards the Vision by acquiring land in a very strategic position within the Nyandarua County where they intend to put up the facility. Plans are at an advanced stage to jump start the Center because Merciful International Guild has been running a VCT now for the last one year and plans are under way to set up a Laboratory in the next few months. This will be the gate opener and the sky will be the limit, the Living Hope Medical Center will focus on the three Millennium Development Goals Nos. 4, 5 and 6 which deals with the issues of Health.
They are MDG 3. "Reduce Child Mortality" MDG 4. "Improve Maternal Health" MDG 5. Combat HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Other Diseases". To attain this vision then Merciful International Guild will require to develop partnership with as many organization as possible who will share in the implementation by contributing resources. The resources could range from Funds, Human, Material or expertise. No single advice will be ignored although we know that not all will dbe applicable in the implementation.
The Facility will be a beckon of hope to an average of 65,000 people in two counties and we envisage that it will be 100 ward bed for obstetric mothers, and 150 ward beds for children.
Great minds knows where they are coming from and where they are going.
